" I always order the Super Cover and I've had to use it once. Although it was a lengthy process, I was treated nicely. But I didn't like that I had to wait for months (!!!) for my case to be processed. Also, the car rental companies don't really like when you present a voucher from AutoEurope instead of booking directly with them. That's probably why you never get upgrades and they try to sell you damage waivers and accessories even when you have the Super Cover. "
" Car rental companies are all the same. The reason I give a 5 out of 10 is not because they're bad; but they're just another car rental company. Nothing sticks out, the same cumbersome procedure at the check-in desk, the same "cheap as possible" cars (they say "Ford or similar", you get a Kia / they say "Mercedes c-class or similar", you get Skoda). It's okay and all fine I guess, but nothing that would make me explicitly want them next time. "

" I'm satisfied with the Super Cover option, even though I - fortunately - have only had need for it once in the past 7 years (my first rental with Auto Europe was in 2014). Downside of Auto Europe is that they respond slow to requests. They're always busy and it can take days or weeks. So you kind of cross your fingers and hope you don't need customer support. "
" The "check-in" form that I filled out online is a farce. Yes, it's possible to skip the rental desk in the main airport hall, but they will still do the entire check-in process when you get to the car. So it's not convenient and "low-contact" as the email states. The car's infotainment system was not reset, it was in French and had specific driving settings. On a positive note, we reserved a car in the midsize range and got a Mazda CX5 which is a spacious SUV. Unfortunately the car's engine wasn't too impressive and the car was considerably slow when accelerating. This caused frustration. "
